Harvatek Statement on Patent Litigation Filed by U.S.-Based LED Manufacturer Cree

Harvatek Corporation (6168) announced that Cree Inc., an LED manufacturer headquartered in North America, filed a legal action to enforce six of its patents in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin on September 15, 2014. Although Harvatek has not yet received an official copy of the complaint, the company has been informed of the dispute and is preparing appropriate response measures. Considering that most of Harvatek’s products are sold in Asia, the case is not expected to have any significant impact on its business operations or financial condition.
