Sustainable Development - Governance & Corporate Responsibility
🎯 Core Governance Mechanism
To identify business risks, potential opportunities, and transformation capabilities for achieving sustainability goals, our Chairman, Mr. B.L. Wang, leads the Sustainable Development Committee in formulating policies, annual plans, and strategic directions. By establishing dedicated units, we implement Harvatek's Corporate Social Responsibility through a top-down approach.
We focus corporate resources on enhancing operational efficiency and refining core competencies while balancing the interests of stakeholders with environmental sustainability.
Through innovative green technologies, we proactively respond to environmental issues and contribute to social well-being, creating long-term value for all stakeholders with a responsible management attitude.
Operations and Division of Labor — Governance Mechanism
Following the overall ESG policy, the company established the "Sustainable Development Committee" in 2022 as the highest-level decision-making platform. Chaired by the Chairman, the committee includes senior executives from Finance, R&D, Manufacturing, HR, and EHS to ensure horizontal integration across all business units.
We have constructed a comprehensive governance mechanism based on international standards to identify material sustainability issues, set mid-to-long-term goals, and strategic directions while strictly monitoring implementation performance and risk control.
📋 Core Committee Tasks
The committee meets regularly to review the achievement of material issues and regulatory compliance. Resolutions are reported to the Board of Directors to serve as the basis for the company's sustainable direction and resource allocation.
Through a clear governance structure and a cycle of continuous improvement, we fully enhance corporate sustainability, competitiveness, and climate risk management.
Organizational Structure — Functional Framework
The Committee consists of multiple functional groups precisely corresponding to key dimensions: Environmental Sustainability, Social Responsibility, Corporate Governance, Sustainable Supply Chain, Innovative R&D, and Stakeholders. Led by top-tier executives from each functional unit, these groups integrate sustainability actions into the core of our operations.
Deepening Governance and Organizational Resilience
Through clear division of labor and cross-departmental collaboration, we effectively respond to challenges and opportunities across different dimensions. By enhancing project execution efficiency, we ensure that sustainability governance goes beyond policy and is deeply embedded in every operational decision and practical execution.
