Compensation Assurance

The company values employees' compensation and benefits, implementing competitive salary and benefits policies across all operating locations. Annual salary surveys are conducted to benchmark market salary levels and overall economic indicators, providing appropriate salary adjustments and attracting talent with competitive compensation.

Equal Pay and Diversity-Inclusive Compensation

Our salary policies are designed on principles of fairness and reasonableness. Employee salaries and remuneration are determined based on education, professional knowledge and skills, work experience, and individual performance. Under comparable conditions, equal pay is applied regardless of gender. New hires are not discriminated against in starting salaries based on race, religion, political stance, gender, or marital status.

Compliance with Taiwan’s Minimum Wage Regulations

The company’s compensation policy adheres to local laws and regulations, and combines market value and employee contribution with performance management to provide appropriate remuneration. Starting salaries for new graduates comply with legal requirements while remaining market-competitive. In 2024, the standard salary for entry-level employees meets Taiwan’s statutory minimum wage: NT$27,470. The ratio of standard salary to minimum wage for entry-level employees is as follows:

1. Bonus System

The company’s overall compensation is set based on employees’ responsibilities, professional skills, performance, and long-term contributions, aligned with the company’s operational goals. According to company regulations, at least 6% of annual profits are allocated as employee rewards to encourage continuous contribution and long-term service, attracting, motivating, and retaining outstanding talent. By linking individual performance with company results, all employees collaborate toward common goals and generate long-term profits for shareholders.

  • Allowance: Full attendance allowance
  • Bonuses: Incentive bonuses based on operational performance (quarterly bonus, year-end bonus, long-service bonus, retention bonus, etc.)
  • R&D Patent Incentive Program: Encourages innovation; bonuses are provided for patent proposals, applications, and approvals
  • Annual promotion and salary adjustment: Based on individual performance
  • Employee profit sharing: At least 6% of annual profits are allocated to employees if the company has profits
  • Employee Stock Trust: Outstanding employees contribute a fixed amount of monthly salary, matched 1:1 by the company, into a dedicated trust account to share business results and plan retirement

2. Comprehensive Insurance

The company provides insurance for all employees in compliance with local laws. In addition to labor insurance and national health insurance, employees are enrolled in a group insurance plan starting from their first day, fully paid by the company, covering spouses and children, ensuring employees can work without worry. Insurance coverage includes:

4. Comprehensive Pension System

In compliance with legal regulations, since July 1, 2005, new employees and existing employees under the new pension regulations contribute 6% of monthly salary to the Labor Insurance Bureau pension account. Meanwhile, service years under the old pension system are retained and calculated according to the original method, with contributions deposited into a Taiwan Bank account. Employees transferred to affiliated companies continue to accrue years of service, providing greater protection and ensuring talent circulation within the group.
