Conflict Minerals Management Commitment

Advancing responsible sourcing and upholding international human rights.

Harvatek is dedicated to responsible procurement practices. To prevent minerals associated with the funding of armed groups or human rights abuses in conflict-affected areas from entering our supply chain, we require all suppliers to explicitly commit to Non-Use of Conflict Minerals and ensure that all products and components comply with international regulations.

I. Supplier Commitment to Non-Use of Conflict Minerals

Supplier Warranty

Suppliers must provide a formal commitment to Harvatek stating that:

  • All products, raw materials, and components supplied to Harvatek.
  • Must comply with all relevant conflict minerals regulations and standards.
  • The use of conflict minerals from unknown or controversial sources is strictly prohibited.
 
 

II. Adherence to OECD Due Diligence Guidance

Supplier Responsibility

Suppliers must follow the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains and ensure that they do not directly or indirectly procure or use the following Conflict Minerals:

Gold (Au)
Tantalum (Ta)
Tungsten (W)
Tin (Sn)
Cobalt (Co)
Mica
 
 

III. Harvatek Reserves the Right to Request Supporting Documentation

Audit and Document Submission

Suppliers shall cooperate with Harvatek's audit requirements, which include but are not limited to:

  • Written Declaration of Non-Use of Conflict Minerals.
  • Conflict Minerals Policy Implementation Report.
  • Submission of international standard reporting templates, such as CMRT (Conflict Minerals Reporting Template) and EMRT (Extended Minerals Reporting Template).
 
 

IV. Supply Chain Management Responsibility

Chain of Custody Oversight

Suppliers must guarantee that:

  • • Upstream Suppliers
  • • Downstream Suppliers
  • • All Subcontractors

All aforementioned parties must comply with the Non-Use of Conflict Minerals policy. Suppliers are responsible for communicating this policy throughout their supply chain and ensuring full compliance.

 
 

V. Liability and Indemnification for Policy Violations

Supplier Liability

If a supplier fails to comply with the commitment to avoid conflict minerals, resulting in Harvatek facing:

• Damages • Litigation • Claims • Penalties

The supplier shall assume:

  • Full liability for compensation
  • Indemnification and "Hold Harmless" obligations toward Harvatek
  • Relevant legal responsibilities
